Bill Gates, född 28 oktober 1955, är världens rikaste man (46,6 miljarder dollar 2004 [1] (http://www.forbes.com/2004/02/25/bill04land.html)), och tillsammans med sin fru världens största privata bidragsgivare. Hans rikedom kommer förstås från att han är en av grundarna till Microsoft samt f.d. VD. Numera innehar han styrelseordförandeposten eftersom Steve Ballmer har tagit över som direktör.
